Speaking of Native American beasts and if we may get more information about these beasts in the future movies. I wonder if people have forgotten Harry’s description of Dumbledore’s mother Kendra as her face having ‘a carved quality about it. Harry thought of photos of Native Americans he’d seen as he studied her dark eyes, high cheekbones, and straight nose…..’
I wonder if this may play a part in future films (maybe in a flash back to Albus and Aberforth’s childhood?). Could Albus Dumbledore be part Native American? Kendra could be half Native American which could be why her children do not exhibit Native American features. Maybe she tells them stories her grandparents have told her and these beasts are part of the story?
Regardless, do you think Kendra will be portrayed as Native American in the movie. Considering the emphasis on Native American mythology through the beasts, it would be a lost opportunity to not portray her the way Harry describes her.
